Mission

A Spanish-English speaking professional with experience abroad and a Master’s of Arts degree in Integrated Global Communications. A responsible, flexible, diligent team player with top notch customer service skills and a goal to obtain a corporate position in the communications department of a multinational corporation.

 

Significant Accomplishments

Research & Communications

• Performed qualitative and quantitative research, including case studies and public relations plans. Well-educated in carrying out focus groups, surveys, and in-depth interviews using communication theories.

• Constructed a social media audit for the Spilled Milk documentary. Discovered issues and suggested ways for them to increase their outreach and exposure.

• Managed social media accounts for the largest Asian business conference in the south east, the Symposium on Asia-USA Partnership Opportunities (SAUPO).

 

Overseas Travels

• Assisted in organizing, and participated in, a two week professional study abroad experience for doctorate level professors and masters students. Made contacts with communications organizations in Ireland and the United Kingdom.

• Independently created a study abroad experience that included conducting communications research in France and Spain. Met with locals and professionals to discuss culture and also preformed ethnographic research.

• Translated and guided groups through the rainforest on horseback and through zip-line courses in Costa Rica. Taught tourists about conservation and provided them with information on how to help save our environment.

 

Skills & Experiences

• Worked with special needs groups, helping them over come obstacles through different equestrian related practices. Taught life-saving equestrian safety courses to children and adults.

• Fluent in all office skills, including scheduling, managing, and working in customer heavy environments.

• Organized large conference, recruited speakers, organized and managed panels, and designed flyers for the event. Developed keen time management through this.
